Who is TellemTall?
PAST ************************************************* I started telling tales professionally back in New Jersey. I think it was 1953 or 54. I got a break with a paying gig every Wednesday 8:30 PM at a local club. Unfortunately, I had to quit after the first show, because Mom would not let me stay up that late; it started after my bedtime. Probably for the best. How often can you tell the story about finding strange smelling tootsie rolls in the sand box? I quit the biz for a few years until I gained control over a captive audience and did 5 shows a day for the next 33 years(now it is 6 shows for the same pay for year 35). But who's countig? More soon as my biographers sends me the next installment of my life.

FUTURE ***************************************************** The year 2025 and sales of my book of stories is holding at the same rate it has been for the past few years. Yes, Mom is still buying one each year to give as a present. I was going out to Wekiva to tell the gator story to a group of 5th graders and my electric chair got stuck in the good old Florida sugar sand. I ran down the battery trying to get out and had to wait until morning for help. It was a nice night; I gave a few pints of blood to the mosquitoes until I got a fire going with the small bundle of lighter pine Tim gave me at a Project WILD work shop in mid nineties. I knew if I carried it long enough it would come in handy. It reminded me of the time Erik and I were scouting a trail in Ocala National Forest for a backpacking trip when we drove that big Doge Ram in a stream and sank up to the carburetor, that was an interesting adventure as we watched the sun sinking lower then us while we sat on the roof . . . .
